2012 repress !!! patrik skoog kak agaric isnt only one of the youngest veteran techno and house producers from sweden, he is also one of the most interesting and inspired. though incredibly versatile, the sustained energy in his sets and productions are equally exceptional. in the last two years, agaric established the club tracks 10 inch series on his label we are. besides his own stellar productions, collaborations with close friends shonky, waker bernard, ed davenport, and beaner have also graced the club tracks series. international support came from leading djs like richie hawtin, seth troxler, loco dice, ben klock, luciano, joris voorn, magda, laurent garnier, sven väth, and adam beyer.

medical records is ecstatic to present the reissue of the essential >novels for the moons< by axxess. originally released in 1983, axxess is the brainchild of french multimedia artist patrick mimran. mr. mimran was co-director of lamborghini motors (along with his brother) at the time and fittingly released the album on the imprint lamborghini records. heavily influenced by german electronic pioneers klaus schulze, tangerine dream, and kraftwerk, mr. mimran commissioned the german engineer andreas bahrdt to build a custom complex synthesizer which eventually materialized into a 16 voice analog synthesizer of genius proportions.
presented on high-quality 180gram yellow vinyl in a limited edition of 1000 hand-numbered copies.

we are very proud and honered to release this ep by function aka dave sumner from sandwell district. one of technos true underground heroes, function (dave sumner) has been djing and making music for over 15 years. hailing from new york, he was seduced by techno music when jeff mills held a residency (as well as his own first) at the limelight in the early 90s. dave started to produce music and from the mid-90s onwards, put out music on damon wilds synewave and his own infrastructure imprint. together with regis (karl o connor) he worked as portion reform, putting out uncompromising music on downwards and becoming the only non-birmingham producer to release on the label. in 2008 dave moved to berlin, still working with regis, and now silent servant (john mendez), put his focus on the acclaimed sandwell district imprint. obsessed is a supper powerfull floating track for the dancefloor, a typical function production. this ep also contains remixes from substance and scb aka scuba, both peak-time tracks.
